How to order

Postal Boxes

Our online shop opens every day, orders get dispatched on a WEDNESDAY ONLY (cut off is Monday at midnight, for example if you order on a Thursday, your order will not be dispatched until the following Wednesday), you must choose FOUR ITEMS ONLY from the postal box range in order to be able to checkout (trying to order more or less than four will prevent you from being able to do this). We always put on Instagram @sarahjthomasbakes what’s available to order on Wednesday at 10am for the next week. Delivery is charged at checkout and is £6.00 as it is sent Royal Mail Tracked 24.

If you require a bulk quantity order please email us to discuss the possibilities and timescales.

Celebration Cakes

Once the order has been placed we require a minimum of 7 days before collection can be made (if you require it sooner please email first to see if we have ability within the kitchen to produce earlier), you will be contacted upon order to confirm your collection date and time. If you require a bespoke celebration cake please email enquiries@sarahjthomas.com with your requirements and we will get back to you. They under no circumstances can be delivered, all collection is from Rufforth, York.

Once an order has been placed, Sarah Thomas will contact you directly to schedule a date.

Allergy advice

Our products are made in a kitchen with allergens – Cereals containing Gluten, Milk, Eggs, Peanuts, Nuts, Sesame, Wheat, Soya, Barley, Butter. Please see individual products for more information.

Sarah J Thomas Bakes products are not suitable for people with allergies or special dietary requirements.

Delivery

Delivery for postal boxes is £6.00 and charged at checkout, they are sent every WEDNESDAY tracked 24 with Royal Mail.

We dispatch only on a WEDNESDAY and we ship items via Royal Mail tracked 24 parcel. Royal Mail states 1-2 days for 24h a, but due to COVID-19 it now states 1-7 working days.

Please note: we can’t do anything with delays until 10 working days after they have been sent. This meaning we won’t be prioritising messages regarding delayed parcels, please only contact us when it’s been up to 10 working days from dispatch.

The order will be at your own risk as we can not be held responsible for delays. We will not be allowing refunds based on delays like this.
